刚毛梭大口鱼（Luciosoma setigerum）常以“阿波罗鲨”出售，体侧斑纹及延长的腹鳍前缘鳍条很醒目。它需要极大的私人缸空间，并且商品批次可能混有身份尚未确认的相似鱼。
分布与栖息地
现有分布涉及湄公河、泰国多条河系、马来半岛及婆罗洲、苏门答腊、爪哇，缅甸东部仅可能存在。偏爱较缓的低地河流，底部有落叶与沉木，雨季也进入沼泽和淹没森林。
饲养环境
保留宽阔泳道，用沙砾、圆石、沉木和附生水草点缀即可。无需极强水流，但要保持较高溶氧、适度循环和良好水质，每周换水约 30%～50%。缸盖应极贴合，封住所有可能跃出的缝隙。
食性与喂食
天然食谱以落入水面或可从水面捕捉的陆生昆虫为主，水生无脊椎动物和鱼苗也可能被取食。
雌雄区分
成熟雌鱼可能更厚实，但不宜把这一推测当作可靠的幼鱼鉴别方法。
补充说明
侧线鳞上有一串黑斑，可与布氏梭大口鱼（Luciosoma bleekeri）区分。体侧暗纹延向尾鳍上叶基部，下叶也有近缘黑带；常见的一种体前部无侧纹商品鱼身份尚未确定，不能自动并入本种。

Overview
Frequently sold as an Apollo shark, Luciosoma setigerum has distinctive body markings and an extended anterior pelvic ray. It needs an exceptionally spacious enclosure, and superficially similar trade fishes may not have a confirmed identity.
Distribution & habitat
Records extend across much of mainland Southeast Asia and the Sunda islands. Eastern Myanmar remains unconfirmed. Slower lowland rivers with woody debris and leaves are typical, with seasonal use of swamp and flooded-forest habitat.
Aquarium setup
Prioritize open swimming room over elaborate decoration. Moderate current and ample oxygen suit the setup better than extreme flow. Maintain water quality with routine weekly changes of roughly thirty to fifty percent and secure all lid openings.
Diet & feeding
Terrestrial insects captured at the surface dominate the known natural menu. Aquatic invertebrates and fry are presumed supplementary prey.
Sexual dimorphism
Mature females may be fuller-bodied, but this remains a tentative external clue.
Notes
Separate spots on lateral-line scales distinguish it from Luciosoma bleekeri. Some commonly imported look-alikes lack the anterior side stripe and remain unidentified, so they should not automatically be assigned to this species.
