概述
条纹长背魮（Labiobarbus fasciatus）背鳍很长，具有两对发达口须，体侧鳞片斑点连成长条。红色尾鳍两叶各有细深色边，是辨识时较直观的特征。
分布与栖息地
已知分布包括马来半岛彭亨河及苏门答腊、婆罗洲。婆罗洲记录在印度尼西亚加里曼丹的卡普阿斯、巴里托和马哈坎等流域。
补充说明
侧线位置的条纹一般比上、下方更深，肩部或尾柄中央通常没有明显圆斑。旧文献可能采用 Dangila 属名，不能因此把这些旧称自动视作不同种。

Overview
An elongated dorsal fin and well-developed barbels accompany the striped appearance of Labiobarbus fasciatus. Scale spots align into lengthwise markings, while the red tail carries a fine dark border on each lobe.
Distribution & habitat
Known records lie in the Pahang basin and on Sumatra and Borneo, including several major Kalimantan drainages. The original locality is in southern Sumatra.
Notes
The stripe along the lateral-line region is usually stronger than those above or below, and prominent shoulder or tail-base spots are normally absent. Older literature may use Dangila, reflecting the nomenclatural history of the genus.
