概述
蓝野鲮（Labeo calbasu）是成鱼体型很大的食用及游钓鱼，原产地部分地区也叫黑色罗胡鱼。它适合公共展示设施或极大型专业缸，不能按普通观赏鱼安排家庭饲养。
分布与栖息地
广泛记录于巴基斯坦、尼泊尔、印度大部、孟加拉国、缅甸和中国南方的大河水系。常在大河下游、湖泊及人工水库等面积较大、流速较缓或静止的水体活动。
饲养环境
需要大型成熟过滤、严格维护和充分供氧，同时保持一定水流。每周换水约 50%～70% 是针对这种大型设施的维护要求，不能用小缸频繁换水来代替足够空间。
食性与喂食
主要在底部寻找水生植物、有机碎屑、小型软体动物、丝状藻和硅藻，食物包含植物与动物来源。
繁殖
自然环境中似乎在雨季浅水处繁殖，商业苗场则采用激素注射催产。两者不能等同为普通家庭缸的繁殖经验。

Overview
Labeo calbasu is a large food and sport fish whose adult dimensions rule out ordinary home aquaria. Public displays or exceptionally large specialist facilities are the appropriate context for keeping it.
Distribution & habitat
Records span major drainages from Pakistan across the subcontinent to Myanmar and southern China. Large slow-flowing or standing waters are typical, including lower river reaches, lakes and reservoirs.
Aquarium setup
A mature high-capacity filtration system and rigorous upkeep are necessary. Provide well-oxygenated water with circulation and substantial weekly changes, approximately fifty to seventy percent. These demands accompany, rather than replace, the need for a very large enclosure.
Diet & feeding
Bottom foraging includes aquatic plants, organic debris, small mollusks and several forms of algae. Both animal and plant material contribute to the described natural diet.
Breeding
Spawning apparently takes place in shallow water during the wet season. Commercial hatcheries use hormonal induction, which does not establish a routine home-aquarium method.
