Distribution & habitat
Recorded fish came from an unspecified site in the south Garo Hills, part of the Garo–Khasi range in Meghalaya, northeastern India.
Aquarium setup
A river-style layout uses mixed rocks, sand, fine gravel, and worn boulders. Branches create crevices, shade, and visually separated retreats. Tough attached plants are more suitable than delicate vegetation.
