Overview
An unnamed Peckoltia from the Orinoco system, L243 is also traded as LDA086. Similar fishes can be exported together, so identification benefits from checking both the trade number and provenance.
Distribution & habitat
Confirmed distribution is limited to parts of the Orinoco drainage in Amazonas, southern Venezuela.
Aquarium setup
A tank at least 120 cm long is the stated minimum; modest body size should not obscure the importance of usable floor area.
