据称采自巴西北部帕拉州波特尔一带的帕拉河。帕拉河属于亚马孙河口南侧水道，绕过马拉若岛的西侧和南侧。

Overview
L076 is an unnamed Peckoltia that spawns in caves, with males caring for the brood. It may represent the same species as another trade number, so differences in daytime darkness do not necessarily establish separate species.
Distribution & habitat
Collections are reported from the Pará River near Portel in northern Brazil. This channel forms the southern arm of the Amazon mouth, passing around the western and southern sides of Marajó Island.
Aquarium setup
Consider an aquarium at least 120 cm long, with sufficient floor space for adults and a usable cave for spawning.
Sexual dimorphism
Adult males develop odontodes on the caudal peduncle; females lack this feature.
Breeding
Eggs are laid in a cave, and the male assumes brood care.
Notes
L076 and L099 appear to be the same species. The former is darker by day, whereas both look similar at night, making observation time relevant to visual comparison.
