概述
Pangio sp. 'PAN01' 是尚未确定种名的库利鳅类，部分个体带粉红至紫色光泽。它可较有把握地归入 Pangio kuhlii 与 Pangio oblonga 所在近缘群，但尚不能对应到已描述物种。
分布与栖息地
可能来自婆罗洲，确切产地尚不明确。同属鱼通常生活于遮阴的浅缓森林溪流、沼泽、回水及牛轭湖，常见于泥炭沼泽黑水，也有清水或轻微染色的水体。软泥、砂、根枝和落叶堆是常见微环境，但这些属级特征不能代替 PAN01 的采集记录。
饲养环境
建议至少约 75 × 30 cm 底面积。铺柔软细砂供其钻掘和埋身，避免粗砾造成损伤、紧张或影响进食。沉木与根枝形成阴影，落叶增加遮蔽，铁皇冠、莫丝或椒草类植物适合较暗照明。
过滤水流保持温和，水面有轻微扰动即可。进水口加防护，缸盖封好，尤其防止刚入缸时跳逃。
食性与喂食
可能筛取底质中的昆虫幼虫、小型甲壳动物，并附带摄入碎屑或猎物肠内植物物质。缸内可喂沉底干粮，规律搭配水蚤、丰年虾、红虫、微虫和小型白线虫等活饵或冻饵，观察躲藏个体是否也能吃到。
习性与混养
至少五至六条同种一起养较合适。同属鱼常聚在同一藏身点休息，通常能与环境要求相近的小型平和鱼相处。避免强势争食或领域性明显的其他鳅类；卵和仔鱼仍可能被近亲吃掉。
雌雄区分
成年雌鱼通常稍大且厚实；成熟雄鱼第一胸鳍条分叉并加粗。
补充说明
粉紫色泽也曾见于 Pangio superba 及某些婆罗洲种群，不能作为 PAN01 独有的鉴别特征。条纹或素色也未必对应不同物种，保留来源、个体照片和编号有助于日后核对。捞取时注意眼下棘挂网。

Overview
Pangio sp. 'PAN01' is an unidentified kuhli-type loach, with pink to purple pigmentation in some individuals. It can be placed fairly confidently in the lineage containing Pangio kuhlii and Pangio oblonga, but does not match a described species securely.
Distribution & habitat
Borneo is a possible origin, although the exact locality is unknown. Relatives commonly occupy shaded shallow forest streams, swamps, backwaters, and oxbows. Peat-associated blackwater is frequent, but clear or lightly stained water also occurs. Mud, sand, roots, and leaf piles describe typical environments for the genus rather than a verified PAN01 collection site.
Aquarium setup
Provide at least about 75 × 30 cm with soft fine sand for digging and burial. Coarse gravel risks injury, stress, and difficulty feeding. Arrange roots and wood for shade and add leaves for cover. Java fern, mosses, or crypts suit subdued illumination.
Keep filtration gentle, with a little surface movement. Shield intakes from small fish and close the lid securely, especially during initial introduction.
Diet & feeding
It probably sifts insect larvae and small crustaceans from substrate, perhaps taking detritus or plant material inside prey incidentally. Offer sinking dry food with regular live or frozen Daphnia, brine shrimp, bloodworms, microworms, and small grindal worms. Check that concealed fish also receive food.
Behaviour & compatibility
Keep at least five or six conspecifics. Relatives often share a resting shelter and generally suit small peaceful companions under matching conditions. Avoid loaches that compete forcefully for food or defend territories. Eggs and fry may still be eaten by related loaches.
Sexual dimorphism
Adult females usually appear slightly larger and fuller-bodied. Mature males have a branched, thickened first pectoral-fin ray.
Notes
Pink or purple pigmentation has also been reported in Pangio superba and other Bornean populations, so it is not unique to PAN01. Plain and banded patterns do not necessarily define separate species. Retain provenance, photographs, and the provisional code for future identification. Eye spines can catch in nets.
