概述
辛格鳠（Mystus singaringan）是一种体形较大的鲿科鱼，在观赏鱼饲养中不算常见。它会捕食小鱼，部分个体还会表现出明显的领域攻击性，适合与体格健壮、体形较大的鱼谨慎搭配。
分布与栖息地
分布于柬埔寨、泰国、越南、老挝、马来西亚和印度尼西亚。生活在河流缓流地段，通常为柔软底质，雨季会进入被淹森林。
饲养环境
底面积至少约 120 × 45 cm。底床宜用柔软细砂，利用沉木、花盆或管道做出藏身空间；浮水植物可遮光，帮助它更常露面。
食性与喂食
可接受多数适口活饵、冷冻饵和干饲料，菜单应保持多样。
习性与混养
会吃较小的鱼，不宜与其他有领域性的底栖鱼同养。较大的鲃类或慈鲷等强壮缸友有成功搭配的经验，但必须考虑个体性情差异。
同种间通常不相容，除非鱼缸特别大，否则只养一条较合适。不能把单条鱼暂时安静的表现当作加进另一条也能相容的保证。
雌雄区分
雄鱼臀鳍前方有较长的生殖突。
补充说明
本种在不少原产国也作为食用鱼利用。它可以成为强壮大型鱼混养缸的底层成员，但并不适合因幼鱼好开口就加入小鱼群落。

Overview
Mystus singaringan is a substantial catfish that is not especially common in ornamental fishkeeping. It eats small fish, and some individuals display marked territorial aggression. Any companions must be robust and appropriately sized.
Distribution & habitat
The range includes Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It occupies slow river sections, generally above soft substrates, and moves into flooded forest during the rainy season.
Aquarium setup
Allow a footprint around 120 × 45 cm or larger. Soft sand is preferable. Wood, pots, and pipes can provide shelters, while floating vegetation reduces illumination and may encourage the fish to emerge.
Diet & feeding
Most suitably sized live, frozen, and dry foods are accepted. Offer a varied menu.
Behaviour & compatibility
Smaller fishes will be consumed. Avoid other territorial bottom dwellers. Large barbs and cichlids have been housed successfully with it, but individual temperament remains important when assessing any combination.
Tolerance of conspecifics is usually poor. Keep one unless accommodation is exceptionally large. A temporarily quiet individual does not establish that adding another will be successful.
Sexual dimorphism
Males possess a relatively long genital papilla before the anal fin.
Notes
It is used as a food fish in several native countries. Although it can occupy the bottom of a community of robust large fishes, easy feeding and a small juvenile size do not make it suitable for a community of little fish.
