概述
尖大鲶（Megalancistrus parananus，L113）是体长可达约 58.8 厘米的大型异型，仅适合公共展示或极大的私人水体。受空间限制时可表现强烈攻击性，不能只为幼鱼暂时找到一个缸就忽略成年安排。
分布与栖息地
分布于巴西南部、巴拉圭、乌拉圭与阿根廷的巴拉那河、巴拉圭河及乌拉圭河水系。
饲养环境
饲养规模应按极大型鱼缸或公共设施考虑，不能把一般异型缸的尺寸直接套用本种。
食性与喂食
野生肠道分析显示主要取食淡水海绵和其他水生无脊椎动物，少量木屑是否必要食物仍不明。缸内提供多样下沉干粮、冷冻水蚤、昆虫幼虫和虾等，并配新鲜植物食材；也可用含蔬菜、螺旋藻及动物原料的凝胶饲料。
习性与混养
只考虑在足够大的空间中与体形相近、强健的鱼搭配。尤其需留意受限空间中的攻击表现。
补充说明
L113 与 L234 曾被一并归到本种，但后者来自巴西东部圣弗朗西斯科河，不能继续把两个编号视为确定同种。

Overview
L113, Megalancistrus parananus, can reach about 58.8 cm and belongs in public displays or exceptionally large private systems. Confined conditions can produce severe aggression, so a suitable permanent home matters more than temporary space for a juvenile.
Distribution & habitat
Its range covers the Paraná, Paraguay, and Uruguay drainages in southern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina.
Aquarium setup
Accommodation must be planned on the scale of the largest private aquaria or public installations. Ordinary pleco-tank assumptions do not fit its adult dimensions and behavior.
Diet & feeding
Gut analyses show chiefly freshwater sponges and other aquatic invertebrates. Small quantities of wood were also present, but whether they are required or incidentally swallowed is unclear. In captivity, vary sinking foods with frozen invertebrates, insect larvae, and shrimp, supplemented by suitable fresh plant ingredients or mixed gel foods.
Behaviour & compatibility
Companions should be similarly sized and robust, within genuinely suitable accommodation. The reported aggression under confinement reinforces the need to assess space before any mixing.
Notes
L113 and L234 were once grouped under this species. L234 comes from the São Francisco drainage in eastern Brazil, however, and should not automatically be treated as identical.
