概述
弓头宝丽鱼（Laetacara curviceps）是亚马逊下游的小型慈鲷，体长约 5 厘米。不同种群体侧和鳍上的红、蓝色程度不一，繁殖由双亲共同照顾。
分布与栖息地
原生于巴西亚马逊河下游流域。野外观察显示，它偏向清澈、缓流且悬浮泥沙少的环境，包括小支流、牛轭形水塘和河边湖泊；底部常有落叶并生长水草。
食性与喂食
野生个体可能在藻类、有机碎屑与小型无脊椎动物间觅食，这一食性描述仍带推测。缸内可喂小型活饵或冷冻红虫、水蚤、丰年虾，搭配优质薄片或颗粒，其中一部分含植物或藻类成分。
繁殖

Overview
A small lower-Amazon cichlid, Laetacara curviceps reaches about 5 cm. Populations differ in the amount of red and blue on their bodies and fins. Both parents participate in reproduction and brood care.
Distribution & habitat
Native to the lower Amazon basin in Brazil, it appears to favor clear water with little suspended sediment and a low flow rate. Recorded habitat types include minor tributaries, oxbow pools, and marginal lakes with leaf litter and aquatic vegetation.
Diet & feeding
Its wild diet is thought to include algae, organic debris, and small invertebrates. In captivity, use small live or frozen foods such as water fleas and brine shrimp alongside quality flakes or granules. Include some prepared food containing plant or algal ingredients.
Breeding
Eggs are laid on a substrate, with care shared by both parents.
Notes
A dark mark at the dorsal-fin base is useful but may be absent in some males and is shared with certain relatives. Breeding fish lack the prominent red cheeks, gill covers, and belly associated with L. dorsigera. Identification should therefore use several features together.
