概述
巨港缺鳍鲶（Kryptopterus palembangensis）是苏门答腊的少见鲶鱼，两侧各有一道明显的深色纵带。在观赏贸易中不常见，偶尔可能随当地野采鱼一同出口。
分布与栖息地
模式地点是印度尼西亚苏门答腊巨港，目前似乎仅有苏门答腊中南部占碑及南苏门答腊两省的记录。
饲养环境
底面积至少参考 120 × 30 厘米，不能因贸易中不常见而忽略其长期空间需求。
食性与喂食
天然可能捕食甲壳类、其他无脊椎动物和小鱼。人工可提供多样下沉饲料、活冷冻红虫、水蚯蚓，偶尔给适口小蚯蚓，不必专门提供活鱼。
补充说明
与双须缺鳍鲶（Kryptopterus bicirrhis）关系较近，但本种明显的侧面暗带是区分线索，后者没有这条突出的纵带。

Overview
A seldom-traded Sumatran catfish, Kryptopterus palembangensis has a prominent dark stripe along each side. It may occasionally appear among mixed shipments of wild fish from the island.
Distribution & habitat
The type locality is Palembang, Indonesia. Known records appear confined to Jambi and South Sumatra in the central and southern parts of the island.
Aquarium setup
The suggested minimum aquarium footprint is 120 by 30 cm.
Diet & feeding
The natural diet probably includes crustaceans, other invertebrates, and small fish. Varied sinking diets and small live or frozen invertebrates are suitable aquarium offerings; live fish are unnecessary.
Notes
It is closely related to Kryptopterus bicirrhis, which lacks the conspicuous lateral stripe. That marking provides a useful distinction between the two.
