概述
Hoplisoma lacrimostigmata 是巴西南部的小型群居甲鲶，体侧中央有四至六枚小圆黑斑，眼前和颊部深纹有泪滴般的形状。它与一些近缘种很相似，细部形态比单看颜色更可靠。
分布与栖息地
仅知分布于巴拉那州伊瓦伊河流域，属巴拉那河支流系统。模式产地为 Cândido de Abreu 地区 Maria Flora 河，经 Ubazinho 河汇入伊瓦伊河。
饲养环境
可按至少约 60 × 30 cm 的底面积安排饲养空间。
食性与喂食
相关鼠鱼类群通常搜食多种食物，人工饲养常用沉底干粮搭配红虫、水蚯蚓等小型活饵或冷冻饵。应提供多样、专门的投喂，不能只依靠其他鱼的残饵，也不能把它当作底床清洁工具。
习性与混养
温和且喜欢同种陪伴，至少四至六条成群较合适。

三个鼻孔和体侧四至六枚小圆黑斑共同构成识别特点。与 Hoplisoma flaveolum 相比，本种体形更纤细、吻稍尖，胸鳍与背鳍棘的锯齿较少，鳍和体侧斑纹也较淡。
它与共域的 Characidium heirmostigmata 有相似花纹，并会形成混合群，存在拟态关系的可能，但不宜将这一解释当作定论。
旧属名 Corydoras 于 2024 年调整为 Hoplisoma。相关甲鲶可利用肠道摄取空气，偶尔上浮吞气是常见行为。胸鳍棘可能刺伤皮肤，棘基分泌物可能具有轻微毒性，转移时需谨慎。

Overview
The small southern Brazilian Hoplisoma lacrimostigmata carries four to six rounded black marks along the middle of each flank. Facial markings resemble tears. Because several relatives look similar, fine anatomical details matter more than color alone.
Distribution & habitat
Its known range is limited to the Ivaí basin in Paraná State, within the Paraná drainage. The type locality is the Maria Flora River near Cândido de Abreu, connected to the Ivaí through the Ubazinho.
Aquarium setup
A footprint of approximately 60 × 30 cm or more is recommended.
Diet & feeding
Related cory catfishes forage on varied foods. In captivity, sinking preparations are commonly combined with small live or frozen bloodworms and aquatic worms.
Provide a deliberate, varied ration rather than depending on scraps from other inhabitants. These catfish should not be used as a substitute for cleaning the substrate.
Behaviour & compatibility
Peaceful social behavior makes a group of at least four to six suitable.
Notes
Three nasal pores and the row of four to six small rounded flank blotches form a useful identification combination. Compared with Hoplisoma flaveolum, this fish is slimmer and slightly more pointed-snouted, has fewer serrations on the dorsal and pectoral spines, and shows weaker fin and flank markings.
Similar patterns and mixed aggregations with the sympatric Characidium heirmostigmata suggest a possible mimetic relationship. That interpretation remains tentative.
It moved from Corydoras to Hoplisoma in 2024. Related armored catfishes supplement respiration through the intestine, explaining occasional surface gulps. Handle carefully around pectoral spines, which can puncture skin; mildly toxic gland secretions near their bases are suspected.
