概述
L128（Hemiancistrus sp.）是蓝色斑点异型，确切身份仍未解决。新进口鱼可能较脆弱，腹部和眼睛下陷的个体恢复困难，购鱼时体况比单纯追求颜色更重要。

野外吃附着生物及小型水生甲壳动物，缸养表现为杂食。可用沉底粮、焯菠菜或螺旋藻类食物，搭配红虫、水蚤等活饵或冷冻饵，保持菜单多样。
习性与混养
可与条件相符的鱼混养。多尾同养时会有领地争执，应安排各自藏处，并选同样适应水流和增氧条件的伙伴。
繁殖
现有资料认为尚无人工繁殖记录；根据生境推测可能洞内产卵，尚不能据此给出确定流程。

与相似的绿色异型（Hemiancistrus subviridis，L200）之间有随采地变化的渐变色现象，提示可能只是同种色型，但尚待确认，连属的归属也带暂定性质。不要仅凭颜色或编号擅自合并；雌雄差异暂无可靠描述。

Overview
L128, recorded as Hemiancistrus sp., is a blue spotted pleco of unresolved identity. Newly imported fish can be delicate, and deeply sunken eyes or a hollow abdomen signal poor prospects. Condition deserves priority over color when choosing specimens.
Distribution & habitat
It is known from the northern Orinoco drainage in Venezuela, living among rocks in flowing water. Local forms vary in background color and the number, size, and placement of spots.
Aquarium setup
Provide at least a 120 × 30 cm footprint. Sand or gravel with rounded rocks creates a stream setting and individual retreats. Plants may be tried, but oxygenation and water movement remain the priorities.
Check actual feeding during acclimation to prevent continued loss of condition. Multiple fish need separate shelters rather than a single contested cave.
Diet & feeding
Wild fish consume aufwuchs and small aquatic crustaceans; aquarium fish are described as omnivorous. Combine sinking foods, blanched spinach or spirulina preparations, and live or frozen bloodworms, water fleas, and similar items.
Behaviour & compatibility
It can join a community sharing its environmental needs. Expect territorial disputes between conspecifics and provide each fish with a separate refuge. Choose companions that also suit the current and oxygenation.
Breeding
Captive reproduction is not thought to have occurred. Cave spawning is inferred from habitat, rather than confirmed, so a definite breeding method is unavailable.
Notes
Color transitions along the river between L128 and Hemiancistrus subviridis, also sold as L200, suggest possible forms of one species. This remains unconfirmed, and even generic placement is tentative. Keep identities distinct and do not infer sex differences from another pleco.
