Overview
Aphyosemion celiae, Celia's lyretail, is a killifish from western Cameroon with a comparatively localized known range. Its name commemorates a resident associated with the area of the original collection.
Distribution & habitat
The type material came from a small stream at Mambanda, near Kumba. Available records appear confined to parts of the middle Mungo basin in that region, rather than establishing a countrywide distribution.
Notes
Celia Epie is honored in the species name. The original collection was made near her family's home, and the family helped with local collecting trips.
