概述
条纹旗鮰（Aphyosemion bitaeniatum）是一种来自西非沿海低地的鳉鱼。不同种群的活体颜色和图案并不完全相同，不能仅按名称中的“两条纹”判断所有个体应有的外观。
分布与栖息地
分布于多哥、贝宁和尼日利亚的低地沿海地区，向东延伸至克罗斯河三角洲，也见于尼日尔河下游部分内陆地点。过去归在本种名下的喀麦隆、赤道几内亚及加蓬种群，现被认为属于其他物种，不应直接沿用这些分布记录。
补充说明
种加词意为“双带”，来自保存后的模式标本上两道深色纵纹；活鱼在不同地方种群间可呈现多样花纹。

Overview
Aphyosemion bitaeniatum, the two-striped lyretail, is a West African killifish associated with coastal lowlands. Living populations differ in their colors and markings, so the common name does not describe an identical pattern in every fish.
Distribution & habitat
The range follows the coast from Togo through Benin into Nigeria, reaching the Cross River delta. Some inland records also come from the lower Niger. Populations formerly assigned to this name in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon are now treated as other species and should not be included automatically.
Notes
The epithet refers to two dark lengthwise bands seen on the preserved type specimen. Live fish from different local populations can look substantially different.
